About Us

Enjoy great food in this great eatery established in 1972. This 80 seat restaurant table is laid with crisp cotton, floral napkins and fresh flowers. A gentle trickling waterfall, water stream, a pond with goldfish,  exotic plant life, opulent wood carvings and marble floor and bar are not the first thing you expect to find in Palmers Green London, but Dipali Restaurant has them all

The menu has an enormous range of starters, main courses, from fish and tandoori dishes to a long list of creative house specialties. Vegetarians are well catered for; there are lots of selected fresh vegetable dishes available.
Match the richness of the dishes with the selection of fine beers, wines, soft drinks, fruit juices, cocktails and lassi drinks.
The dessert menu is full of Indian exotic varieties of ice creams and sweets with beverages including coffee, tea, liquors, liqueur coffees and many more.

Dipali offers  takeaways and local deliveries. We also offer outside catering for small parties.

Involvement in the Community
Dipali is part of the community. It’s one of the longest most popular Indian restaurants, and most popular for its community work carried out over the years. It established Barnett Bull Dog Basketball Club by sponsorship, match funding and has also supported the Chicken Shed Theatre, Southgate Cricket Club, Winchmore Hill Cricket Club, Saracens Rugby Club, Richard House, schools and many Benefit games. It has held Charity dinners for good causes and alongside the Rotary Club.
Many famous personalities and celebrities are also regular visitors of this eatery.
The restaurant suffered a terrible fire accident in 1997 and had to close for 9 months. It lost a manager with his entire family. A supportive community helped launch campaigns to keep their memory. Dipali raised £60,000 to build a multi-sports pitch and garden in collaboration with Enfield Council as a fitting memorial in Broomfield Park opposite the restaurant for the family we lost.

Awarded by Sport England, the ministry of sport culture and media, for match funding of Barnett Bulldog Basketball Club.
